Here at The Sellability Score, our vision is to help create a million sellable companies by the year 2050. It’s a big goal and one we’re passionate about. Smaller companies are the heart and soul of our economy, and too many businesses become an albatross for their owner instead of a ticket to a comfortable retirement.
We want to change that by giving business owners the knowledge they need to create valuable and (one day) sellable businesses. Our approach is to license our tools to a global group of professional advisors (e.g., accountants, M&A professionals, business coaches) who use our software to help their clients.
Like a lot of cloud-based software companies, The Sellability Score offers a flexible environment and the chance to work from home with a dynamic group of people spread across the country (our Practice Development Manager lives in Portland and our head of Advisor Services lives in New Brunswick). It doesn’t matter where you live; if you’re an enthusiastic, glass-three-quarters-full kind of person, we want to talk to you!
We’re building our team across all areas of our business, so please tell us a little more about yourself on the form to the right
The Sellability Score is a cloud-based assessment tool business owners use to measure the Sellability of their company. We license The Sellability Score to financial advisors who use it as a conversation starter with business owners.
The Sellability Score was founded by John Warrillow, the author of the international bestseller, Built to Sell: Creating a Business That Can Thrive Without You. John Wrote Built to Sell having started and exited four businesses, the most recent of which was acquired by a public company (NYSE:CEB) in 2008. His upcoming book, The Automatic Customer: Creating a Subscription Business In Any Industry will be released by Random House, New York on February 5, 2015.
